Republican Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez explained how women know the GOP is not looking out for their best interests.
Representative Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said, “And so we have to sit here on this side of the dice and look at Ranking Member, Ranking Member Lee’s point, a party that has voted against women’s access. Voted against our rights to have an abortion, the Lily Ledbetter Equal Pay Act, voted against violence against women, voted against our right to access contraception, and women’s sports. Equity funding in, didn’t even vote for equity funding, and I think who’s looking out for my best interests? I don’t think so.”

AOC caught it. One of the main reasons why the Republicans lost in the elections is that they claim to work in the best interests of women, but their actions contradict their words. The mindset within the Republican Party is that they cannot stand up to their true position in public, so they have to deceive the voters by hiding their dangerous and destructive agenda.
Ocasio-Cortez called the GOP out, and Democrats need to do the same through the 2024 election.
