In promos and trailers for the series, it has been teased that the anonymous minor who was molested by Brian Peck, a dialogue coach who worked on several shows at Nickelodeon, will finally come forward.
Two weeks before the show’s premiere, ID revealed that the star was Drake Bell and teased the shocking story he’s finally ready to share.
Drake Bell Revealed as Victim of Sexual Abuse: Brian Peck
Brian Peck worked as a dialogue coach for the Children’s Network for many years. She got her start on shows like All Thought and The Amanda Show, which Drake starred in, before landing her own series, Drake & Josh.
In August 2003, Peck was arrested on 11 counts related to allegations that he had sexually abused an unborn child. He later pleaded no contest to having oral sex with a minor under the age of 16 and committing a lewd act. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender in October 2004.
For more than two decades, the identities of Peck’s victims remained anonymous because they were minors.
In the documentary, Drake speaks for the first time about sexual abuse, which he says he experienced as a 15-year-old child star.
Drake Bell pleaded guilty to felony child endangerment
In a shocking twist, Drake pleaded guilty to felony child endangerment charges just a few years after the alleged abuse came to light.
In July 2021, Drake took a plea deal and was sentenced to two years of probation on child endangerment charges. Drake was accused by a teenage fan of having “extremely sexual” conversations with her when she was 15.

During the hearing, the young woman called Drake a “pedophile” and insisted that not only did they exchange explicit photos, but on several occasions – including at a concert venue in Cleveland and at a hotel – engaged in sexual activity.
The case was resolved when Drake took a plea deal, a move many took to mean he was guilty of the young woman’s allegations against him. Soon after the case closed, he took to social media to explain further.
“When I was presented with a plea deal because of the messages, I felt it was the best way to end it quickly and for everyone involved to be able to move on and for me to go back to what I did.” I like it,” he said.
“I’m not telling you that the claims are false, but the state of Ohio has disproved the claims,” he charged. “If these claims were remotely true, my situation would have been very different. I would not be here at home with my wife and son.
