Angela Chow, sister of Elaine Chow (wife of retiring Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican Senate Minority Leader), died in her car on February 11, 2024. Angela was found in an overturned car, unresponsive, and first responders attempted to revive her, but were unsuccessful. The pond was on a farm near the town of Johnson in Blanco County, Texas, about 40 miles west of Austin. The farm was reportedly owned by a business entity of Chao’s husband, Jim Breyer, a venture capitalist with offices in Austin.
Blanco County’s Sheriff is Don Jackson, and the case is now classified as a criminal investigation, which prevents many details from being released to the public. In a letter to the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, Jackson Sheriff said, “This incident was not an ordinary accident.”
Angela Chao was also the chairman and chief executive officer of Foremost Group, a privately held conglomerate that was the largest US owner of bulk shipping merchant vessels (all vessels flagged in other countries). Five years ago the value of the planes alone was $1.2B, but the other activities of the Forumist Group, because it is privately held, are not fully known. Power, wealth, international connections, privately held business groups, China, Taiwan, the United States; This story has many branches and continuations and now a criminal investigation is underway.
China is uninvestable?
Jim Breyer appears to be a mover and shaker in the globalist world. He was part owner of the Boston Celtics, part of the National Basketball Association with deep ties to China. At a recent Davos forum (January 18, 2024), he was asked about investing in China by an interviewer from Forbes, Lisa Abramovich, whom he referred to as “non-investors”. Jim’s answer was interesting (4:47) “I never think of China as not worth investing in…”. He then says, “We have helped many amazing entrepreneurs who have migrated to Singapore in the last two years”. I say he is avoiding criticism of China with this answer. It appears that he is talking about Chinese citizens with talent or international qualifications leaving for China. He goes on to talk about his passion for quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI). “All my investments over the past several years have been in the United States … where I believe the best talent and opportunities are”.
When pressed more about China, Jim said, “I took an 18-month hiatus from investing in China.” Another technical response is to directly criticize China without moving the needle. Lisa then asked Jim if he had met the generals at Davos, and yes, of course, our favorite general, General Millie, who Jim mentioned, had talked to her. With all due respect, I don’t think General Retired Millie AI will be familiar with Windows 10, but Jim assures Lisa that we’re ahead of China – another loss for Jim.
From a Chinese social credit rating of Jim’s comments, he is probably good in negative numbers as his Chinese security case officers’ reviews and grades are not good for Jim’s comments. There are several coded elements in Jim’s statements. His comments belie a much bigger problem than the easing of capital from China that is becoming an external storm, but the reality is clear that for anyone doing business in China, things are going south and physically. The time to get out is now. China is being quite aggressive about preventing the departure of non-Chinese citizens who are trying to leave China. Even before Angela Chao died, I would have noted Jim’s coded responses. Now that a criminal investigation is underway, his DeVos statements should be noted and tagged as exhibits. Jim’s investment firm, IDG Capital Partners, has been identified as a Chinese Communist Party military company, which is quite significant.
The Chao family has deep Taiwanese ties
The story of the Chao family’s rise to wealth is somewhat unusual for families fleeing the Communist takeover of the country in 1949. Father, Dr. James SC Chao was at sea as a junior officer on a Chinese ship that went to Taiwan. James moved to New York in 1958 and returned to Taiwan in 1964 to open Firmest Shipping. The CIA operated parallel analogs of Foremost such as Civil Air Transport (which evolved into the more popular Air America) and perhaps one of its earlier competitors, Evergreen Shipping, which may have been related to Evergreen Airlines, a historical c. Of the airlines owned by IA. Does this mean the Forumists had CIA connections? The reality was that the CIA had extensive influence in the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the time in the 1950s and 1960s, and almost every shipping line and airline had some sort of CIA touch point. Foremost and Dr. Chao most likely had KMT connections and KMT funding to raise Foremost. The KMT was founded and led by Chiang Kai-shek, leader of Nationalist China, who led the return to Taiwan to stand up for the Republic of China. And if there were KMT connections, there was at least a tangent connection to the CIA.
There have been successful (and evergreen) projects before the glory days associated with the CIA of the 1950s and 1960s. James and his wife Ruth had six children and Angela became CEO and chairman of the board for the privately held former group. His list of works is long. Notably, she was on the board of the Bank of China, originally the bank of record for Nationalist China and the KMT, but now firmly in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. Angela was also on the board of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, which is also on the same Department of Defense blacklist as her husband’s investment company. Some very deep connections between Jim, Angela, and the dysfunctional CCP.
Tesla connection?
Tesla’s connection to Angela Chao’s death is a potential treasure trove of forensic data for investigators. Tesla is heavily connected to CCP and the battery is connected to the rare earth metal chain as well as to the large scale of Tesla data centers and the data flow from all Tesla vehicles around the world. Years ago we studied remote access to vehicles and without an Internet-connected activator in the vehicle, it was difficult to do much other than turn the air conditioning on and off without the steering wheel, accelerator, brakes and other features, which is very annoying. Can be a doer, but little else. Then there was no IT connection with the important elements of vehicle control – with Tesla, there is. Remote access and operation of these critical vehicle controls is well within the realm of possibility for a Tesla vehicle, but there will also be a cyber evidence trail with system logs.
An interesting finding is that in January, a publicly listed group called “Foremost Lithium” gained access to lithium deposits in Canada. Is Foremost Lithium connected to Foremost Group? I couldn’t find the connection, but it’s an interesting name phenomenon. Access to lithium in Canada will be huge for electric vehicle batteries. Australia and Chile produce the most lithium, but for some reason Tesla uses a China-based lithium supply chain.
What does all this mean? China has many connections with Angela Chow and Jim Breyer. At Davos, he certainly seemed to be shunning China while praising everyone but China. His company’s unprecedented DOD record is also of great concern. Hopefully the Blanco County Sheriff and Texas Attorney General can uncover the truth before the FBI comes in to cover everything up.
