Spoiler alert: If you haven’t seen all 12 episodes of season 6 love is blindproceed with caution.

love is blind No stranger to shocking altar moments, but this one might take the cake. After a season of highs and lows, 33-year-old real estate broker Amber Desiree (“AD”) and 31-year-old enterprise sales and entrepreneur Clay Gravesend hit it off.

In the pods, Clay let down his walls, breaking down in tears in the men’s lounge and opening up about his feelings throughout the process.

“I feel like I’m getting better, and I want to get better for you,” Clay assured Ed in the pod, and she agreed.

The couple’s relationship only intensified when they met in person. Clay admitted to being nervous about his ability to stay loyal to AD, saying he had never had that precedent.

Clay’s all-hours dedication to his job also proved to be a sticking point for the couple as AD questioned whether Clay was really interested in putting time into their relationship. But thanks to the support of their respective families, the couple seemed ready to give things a try.

AD burst into tears of joy at the fitting of her wedding dress, and Kelly seemed completely excited to take on this new chapter. As for their final date, the couple just confirmed each other as they prepare to head to the altar.

In the newly released wedding episode of Season 6, the couple each get ready for their own high altar. AD seems absolutely certain that she will be married by the end of the day. Matti also seemed excited and ready for the big moment.

“This is the biggest decision I’ve ever had to make, but I’m ready for it,” Clay said with a smile. “She’s my best friend. I can ride with her until the wheels come off.”

But a conversation with her father, who had previously been unfaithful to Clay’s mother, before the ceremony seems to add an element of conflict to the ceremony. Despite this, Ed and Clay still looked on their way to saying “I do” as they stood together at the altar, smiling and talking to each other.

AD went first, said, “I do,” and then Clay dropped a bombshell.

“AD, I love you. I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say, ‘I do’. But I want you to know that I’m with you… I am not ready for marriage,” she said, much to ED’s shock.

AD left the altar in shock, calling the experience “a waste of my royal time” and saying she was “very upset”.

In a separate interview, Clay said he didn’t understand AD’s finances and said he wasn’t “in love” with his fiancée.

He later confronts AD, telling him it was a “game time decision”.

Clay assured AD that he was not rejecting her with his decision, saying that he wanted to continue their relationship. But AD says she’s “done” as she works through the heartbreak of Clay’s altar decision.

When AT met Clay and Ed separately after filming, they refused to share their current relationship status. When asked, Clay jokingly replied, “TBD.”

“I say you’ll have to wait and see,” Ed said with a smile.

Both Clay and AD are currently following each other on social media, though that’s never a sure sign. While Matt and AD both appear outside the pod in promotional photos and trailer footage, it’s unclear if they both make it to the altar. Looks like we’ll have to tune in next week to get more answers.

Special for the reunion love is blind Season 6 will drop on March 13 at 9pm ET on Netflix.
