- A drone launched by Ukraine crashed and caught fire at an oil depot in Russia’s Kursk region, which borders Ukraine, the regional governor said.
- Ukraine’s air defense system destroyed 35 of 39 attack drones that Russia launched overnight, Ukraine’s air force said.
- Russian Air Defense shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet in the Donetsk region, RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying.
- Ukrainian authorities said two people, including a young boy, were killed in Russian artillery strikes in the towns of Chirovnohri, Horivka and Chasiv Yar.
- Russian forces have put pressure on Ukrainian defense positions in eastern Ukraine, with the center of fighting west of Bakhmut, Ukrainian commander of the region Seri Sydorynon told Ukrainian TV.
- A woman was killed and her husband seriously injured by Ukrainian gunfire in Kursk village of Kolbaki when a residential building caught fire, the governor said.
